Coleus coerulescens - Succulent Plant
Hurry up! Only 0 Left in Stock!
The woody grey-brown stems bear ovate fleshy succulent blue-green leaves whose margins are very finely toothed or not at all. The inflorescence is a short spike of pale-blue boat-shaped flowers. Coleus has long been considered a shade plant but the best leaf color is achieved with morning sun and some degree of afternoon shade. Many varieties do well in both shade and part-sun. Some can take quite a bit of sun as long as they are not allowed to dry out.Borders, rock gardens, cottage gardens, open shade gardens, woodland gardens or naturalized areas. Also a good selection for a hummingbird garden. Continue to water plants after bloom to enjoy the ground cover effect of the foliage. Best in large clumps or massed.
